How Legislative Site Alerts Work
LawLinter uses internal site notifications for saved searches and favorite bills so legislative monitoring stays connected to source-linked pages.
Workflow
- Save a search or favorite a legislative record.
- Choose whether that saved item should have no site alerts or show updates in account notifications.
- Use the account notification center as the primary place to review tracked activity.
- Open the related source-linked page from the notification when you need the full context.
Details
The MVP is site-only. It does not send alert email.
Saved bill alerts use bill activity signals, and saved-search alerts check for newly active matching records.
Keeping alerts inside the site avoids noisy inbox behavior and keeps the research context next to the underlying records.
Questions
Are alert emails active now?
No. Legislative alerts are internal site notifications.
Why use internal alerts first?
Internal alerts keep the full bill, search, text, and source context together on the site.
